3. Scope and Purpose of Data Processing
The Website mjgroup.com processes personal data solely for the following purposes:
a) Contact with the Company
Data sent through contact forms or by email is processed to communicate with the User and respond to their inquiry.
Data scope: name, email address, phone number (optional), message content.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – the legitimate interest of the Controller to maintain communication with individuals contacting the company.
b) Recruitment
Personal data of job candidates submitted via the recruitment form or by email (hr@mjgroup.com) is processed for recruitment purposes.
Data scope: as defined in Article 221 of the Polish Labour Code (name, date of birth, contact details, education, professional qualifications, employment history).
If a candidate provides data beyond the required scope, its processing is based on their consent.
If a candidate consents to participate in future recruitment processes, their data may also be stored for that purpose.
Legal bases:
• Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – to take steps prior to entering into a contract,
• Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – legal obligations under the Labour Code,
• Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent for future recruitment processes.
c) Newsletter
If the User subscribes to the newsletter, their data (name, email address) will be processed to send marketing and industry-related information from MJ Group.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – the User’s consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
4. Data Retention Period
Personal data is stored:
• for the time necessary to handle an inquiry or correspondence,
• for recruitment – for the duration of the process, or until consent for future recruitment is withdrawn,
• for newsletter – until consent is withdrawn,
• until the expiry of any potential legal claims.
After these periods, data is permanently deleted or anonymized.
5. Disclosure of Personal Data
MJ Group does not sell or share personal data with third parties, except for:
• entities supporting us in maintaining the Website (e.g., hosting providers, IT service providers, HR and accounting support),
• providers of analytical and marketing tools (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn),
• public authorities authorized by law.
In each case, the scope of shared data is limited to the necessary minimum.
6. Data Transfer Outside the EEA
Due to the use of tools provided by Meta Platforms Inc. (Facebook, Instagram) and LinkedIn Corporation, data may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including the United States.
Such transfers are carried out in accordance with GDPR requirements, based on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission.

Every User has the following rights:
• the right to access their data and receive a copy,
• the right to rectify (correct) data,
• the right to delete data (“right to be forgotten”),
• the right to restrict processing,
• the right to data portability,
• the right to object to processing based on the Controller’s legitimate interest,
• the right to withdraw consent at any time (if processing is based on consent),
• the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
8. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
Personal data is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
9. Cookies Policy
a) What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on the User’s device, used to ensure the proper functioning of the Website and to analyze user behavior and preferences.
b) Purposes of using cookies:
• to ensure proper functioning of the Website,
• to adapt the Website content to the User’s preferences,
• to create anonymous visit statistics (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag),

• Session cookies – deleted after closing the browser,
